Suffolk Writers Group
If, like myself, you enjoy writing and interacting with fellow Writers (especially if you live in Suffolk) then I would highly recommend The Suffolk Writers Group run by Mai Black (links to their FaceBook Group and website).
I joined their FaceBook group a couple of days ago and am already loving its active, friendly, and supportive environment! In addition to Writer chit-chat it has daily challenges (such as prompts for writing daily short stories (typically less than 50 words) and other tasks to keep the creative juices flowing and encouraging interaction between members. They also hold regular meet-ups to give members the opportunity to meet and chat face-to-face.
Apart from social interaction the FaceBook group is also a valuable source of information about upcoming literary events and competitions.
