The Craft of a Master Penman
I was looking through some YouTube videos recently when I came across an amazing video by Master Penman Jake Weidmann. In the video Jake gives us a brief glimpse into the life of a Master Penman and the beautiful, awe inspiring, work he produces using pen and ink.
In today’s world we so often use technology without giving it a second thought: We type up notes on an App on our mobile phones or tablets, or sit typing away on a computer keyboard and perhaps forget the beauty of handwritten prose. The thoughtfulness and care expressed in handwritten words and drawings.
Watching this video has filled me with inspiration and now left me feeling extremely guilty every time I type something up rather than reaching for a pen and paper!
